GENERAL CODE OF CONDUCT...
"In golf, customs of etiquette and decorum are just as important as rules governing play." (-AJGA)

Unlike many sports, golf is played without the supervision of a referee or umpire. The game relies primarily on the integrity of the individual to show consideration for other players and to abide by the rules. Wherever possible, all Program Participants should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrate courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, respective to the prevailing competitive spirit; upholding the honor and integrity embodied within the spirit of the game of golf.
This Code of Conduct policy brief sets forth the minimum standards that AYGO Family of Golf Events and its direct and / or indirect subsidiaries (collectively the “AYGO Program”) extends to all Program Participants.

Code of Conduct
The AYGO Family of Golf Events and its direct and / or indirect subsidiaries (collectively the “AYGO Program”) has instituted a comprehensive Code of Conduct to ensure an enjoyable event for each and every person attending an AYGO Program event. All competitors are expected to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the Program.

If you show up to an event without proper attire you will be asked to change clothing. If you wear a hat, it must be worn in a proper manner at all times. All golf shirts are required to have a collar or mock turtle neck (host facility permitting) and MUST BE TUCKED IN (for male players).
Behavior
The AYGO Program will not tolerate poor behavior at the host facility. All participants are expected to carry themselves as ladies and gentlemen at all times. Swearing, club throwing, yelling, and cheating will not be tolerated.
Drugs, Alcohol, and Tobacco, Firearms
The AYGO Program does not allow the use of these products. These items will not be allowed on the golf course or any facility affiliated with the event. The use of these items will result in disqualification, suspension from future events, and possible criminal prosecution for serious offenses.
Code of Conduct Violation
Penalties
The AYGO Committee, based on severity and frequency of the violation(s), may in accordance with Rule 33-7: warn the player, issue a one stroke penalty for breach of conduct, disqualify the player from the tournament at which the violation occurs, or depending on the severity of the violation, may also result in disqualification from the next AYGO Program event(s) for which a player has been accepted into. The AYGO Program reserves the right to suspend or revoke a player’s membership or entries for a serious breach of the AYGO Code of Conduct. A player’s disregard of others is not limited to the current round but may include repeated offenses from other AYGO event dates.
